EKC Schools Trust

Bysing Wood was one of four schools who are proud to be the founder members of the Trust in March 2020. To be part of an organisation which could offer high quality support, genuine collaborative working for staff and a wealth of enrichment experiences for our pupils was crucial. Recent opportunities for our pupils have included:

• competing against other Trust schools in sport, spelling, debating,
• performing in carol concerts, pantomimes, rock concerts
• visiting EKC College departments to learn about future learning and career routes e.g. robotics, art, health & care, hair and beauty, travel & tourism

Our Trust was nationally groundbreaking in the model of independence offered to each school. Now grown to 12 schools across the east of Kent, the commitment to work for the betterment of our local communities remains as strong as ever.
