I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you and your children to Russet Class and Year 4.

Classroom Adults
The children will be taught by  Mrs Springett, and supported by a team of professional Inclusion Assistants who will help facilitate learning across the class.

 

Classroom Information

PE lessons will take place on Monday afternoons, and children will change into their PE kit at school. As we aim to use outdoor spaces throughout the year, please ensure your child has the following items in a named PE bag:
􀁸 Dark-coloured tracksuit top and bottoms (navy, black, or dark green)
􀁸 Dark-coloured shorts
􀁸 Plain white or house-coloured T-shirt or school polo shirt (no football strips or large logos)
􀁸 Sensible, suitable trainers
􀁸 Hairband to tie up long hair
􀁸 Tape to cover earrings (if not removed), supplied from home


 

Personal Development: We met our local MP, Helen Whately, and asked her questions about her role as a Member of Parliament. The children thought of some wonderful questions to ask. Some of the children are now interested in following in her footsteps!

Personal Development: Our exciting day out to Canterbury College! We took part in robotics and engineering workshops.

Remembrance Day Corridor Art

Art Day: Paint. We were inspired by Yayoi Kusama's painting titled, 'The Little Mermaid'. Our skill was to explore grayscale using acrylic paint.

Term 2 - History: The Mayans. 

 

 

Learning This Term will be centred around Geography, with a focus on discovering more about the country of Mexico.
