The official 'opening' of the expanded school site

Friday 9th of November saw the official opening of the expanded school site.

Helen Whately MP and the first headteacher of the school from 1973, Rob Masters, planted an apple tree. They were joined by two councillors, Nigel Kay and Trevor Abram plus members of the governing body.

As well as the tree planting, the guests toured the school, visiting every class, including those in the new Key Stage Two block, and the onsite Forest School.
